My first-hand (I lived my childhood between the U.S. and Germany, going to secondary school in both countries, and studied in France during one year at university) and second-hand (a lot of my friends have been international students in America, Europe, Asia - as have my parents) experience has allowed me to collect a lot of helpful advice for students studying away from their home.

On this page, I would like to share what I have learned from differences in languages, formality, culture, and academics, to what it takes to adapt to living somewhere else, in order to help you! Don't hesitate to send me an email if you have specific questions (perhaps even in your native language - I only speak English, German, and French fluently, so of course those are easiest, but would reach out to multilingual friends and family as needed).

More information to come.
